Presiding Bishop's Epistle

APA ClergyWe had an extremely busy week beginning on July 11, 2011 with two Diocesan Synods, the Diocese of the Eastern U.S. and the Diocese of Mid-America, along with our Provincial Synod of the Anglican Province of America (APA). The Diocese of the West held their Synod in May 2011 in Wilsonville, Oregon. The Synod Committee from St. Barnabas' Church, where Bishop Chad Jones serves as Rector, did an outstanding job of coordinating the entire week. A tip of the hat goes to Messrs. Rette Ledbetter and Al Duncan who served as the coordinators and to all their committees. The Synod was described by a former Synod coordinator, Joel Swann, among others, as the "best Synod ever."
